The municipality of Voderady is located in the Trnava Uplands, which are part of the Danubian Lowland. Voderady lies on the wide floodplain of the Gidra stream, with the Ronava stream flowing east of the village. The terrain of the cadastral area is predominantly flat to gently undulating, covering a total area of 1,415 hectares. The altitude in the center of the village is 130 meters above sea level, ranging from 128 to 150 meters in the surrounding area. The village has highly favorable conditions for agricultural production. The climate is characteristic of a temperate zone, featuring warm, dry summers and mild winters.

Voderady currently has 1,640 inhabitants. The first historical mention of the village dates back to 1243, in a preserved charter by King Béla IV, where it is referred to as Wederet. The dominant landmark of the village is a manor house surrounded by an English-style park. Originally built in an early style, the manor house was rebuilt in the early 19th century in the Empire style (1860–1870). The adjoining park, initially designed in the French style, was later transformed into an English park at the end of the 18th century. Another significant historical site is the Baroque church, constructed in 1692.
